Widescreen VS Regular

I like the widescreen idea, but at the moment there seem to be too many games that don't support it and cannot be easily hacked to work with it, at least out of the stuff I play. Setting a custom resolution is usually possible but changing the FOV along with that can be tricky. I'll probably move to a widescreen once SEDs come out.

Ever since I got my Asus laptop with a 15" widescreen I've been hooked. I just recently got a Dell 2005fpw and I LOVE it! It's perfect because you get a ton of workspace for multiple windows, toolbars, etc. Plus, games AND movies look better on widescreen.

It's win-win in my book.

Every game I own either supports widescreen or can be made to run wide w/ proper FOV with not much effort at all.
