Hey guys,

Saw Wicked a few weeks back, thought I would share my enjoyment of the musical, I thought it was absoletly amazing. I've previously seen Beauty and the Beast, Aida, Phantom of the Opera, and Proof and I have to say that this is my favorite Broadway play/musical. The set was great, the music was excellent, and the acting was beyond extraordinary. If anyone is in the NYC area, I urge you to go check it out 😉. I went as a school on a trip, and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Just thought I would share. 🙂.

Music and Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. I could have told you it was awesome even if I hadn't heard it. I'd love to see it, but I've got to give Assassins and Little Shop Of Horrors priority if I go see any shows in the near future.

This is the guy who wrote:
Pippin
Godspell (Grammy award winner)
The Baker's Wife
Children of Eden

He collaborated on a musical of Working, and helped Leonard Berstein write his mass.

He also won 2 Academy Awards for his work on Disney's Pocahontas and Hunchback of Notre Dame, and also Dreamworks' Prince Of Egypt where he got another Oscar.

I've never heard a Schwartz song I didn't like.
No, that's not true. "Day By Day" from Godspell postively sucks.
The rest, though....the rest are priceless.

We have tickets for the end of July - can't stand Kristen Chenoweth, but really want to see the show. Joel Grey is one of my all-time favorite broadway stars.
