Just a FYI:

Over Xmas, I shipped a couple of packages from the Los Angeles
area to the Boston area. These were sent on Jan 2 via "Parcel
Select" aka "Parcel Post". Today, Jan 19, 17 days later, they
still haven't arrived, but tracking shows them still in the
system.

Parcel Post is cheap, but that is the ONLY good thing you can
say about it. Whatever you say about Amazon/ToysRUs, they always
ship via UPS or Priority Mail, which means you never have a 17 day
wait...
