wich tool is best for backup?

1. Acronis Image backup?someone told me the tool restore my backup in 5 minutes fast and nice, if anyone use it please share with me i have windows XP or what do you say about ......
2. The tool Located on Start/ Program/Files/Accesories/System Tools/BACKUP ??

My final question is, imagine:I save the backup on my external partition and after a while i decide to reinstall WINDOWS XP fresh copy again ,so i can use same '' backup.file'' saved on my external partition again and again ?
 
Go with Acronis.

It's better than the default Windows backup app, especially if you are running XP. It can "image" the entire drive to the external drive and can be restored over and over if you want. Beats re-installing Windows, applications, drivers, etc.

tell me wich version is better and clean? and not too big
works even if i reinstall new windowsXP fresh copy?
