wich is better? brain age or big brain accadamy?

waggy

No Lifer
my wife wants one them. i have heard one sucked and one was pretty good.

so wich one is it?

I have both and like both.

My fiance and I both thought that Big Brain Academy had more "fun" activities but it felt less scientific than Brain Age. Some people believe that the idea these brain games actually help you is BS, but if one of them did it would have been Brain Age. Brain Age has a ton of Sudoku puzzles built in, if she likes that kind of thing.

My suggestion would be to get them both. I think they retail for $20 and if you're a thrifty shopper I'm' sure you can get them for $15 or less for each. There have been a bunch of other brain games that have come out more recently than those two, I think one was called "Brain Wave", maybe? I never looked into those, but maybe you'd be interested in looking at reviews of the others, too.

All I know is that Brain Age helped my math. I've been out of school for 4 years and I just use a calculator for everything but Brain Age really did help me polish on my math skills. Any kind of practice is good practice.

Too bad you can't spell as well as your wife. I would tell you not to get them because they are stupid but seeing you spell "which" wrong TWICE, run out and buy it now!!!

It's too bad they don't make a game that teaches people to be a productive member of society.

As to the question about Brain Age 2:

A Brain Age 2 DS Lite bundle was released in North America on August 21, 2007, which included a copy of Brain Age 2, a DS Lite carrying case, and a DS Lite with the new crimson and matte black colors, which is exclusive to North America.[4]

EDIT:

But about the two games, I found Brain Age to be a more "serious approach" type of game where big brain is more of a cartoony type of approach. Big Brain also dealt with more real life things such as quick coin counting, etc.
