WI-FI question (i dont know crap about wireless LANS)

I have a 28.8 dialup connection. Can I setup a wireless network with my home PC's and share the internet connection? what equipment will I have to buy if i can do this?

You can use two client devices (usb, pcmcia) to set up an ad-hoc network, and enable internet connection sharing over the wireless.
It involves the usual small home network configuration, and ICS, and the wireless adapters. I have not done it myself.

You would be spending a bit of change to share what will probably be an unsatisfactory connection at 28.8. I really don't think it's worth the trouble unless you have cable or DSL. Some people have shared a 56K dial up connection, but I think even that is too slow.
