Wi-Fi PCI card or PCMCIA Card with PCI adapter for Desktop Computer under desk?

I'm making a 802.11b network in my house and was wondering whether I should use Wi-Fi PCI card or PCMCIA Card with PCI adapter for a desktop computer (running WinXP Pro) that is under a desk? Also could you give a recomendation for which cards i should use? I plan on using them with a Linksys BEFW11S4 Wireless 4-Port Cable/DSL Router. Thanks!

I would go for a USB version, gives you more options to move it around for a good signal
