Wi-Fi connection issue with Android Tablet

OK, so I was given an RCA rct6203w46; and it worked absolutely fine at my parents' house on their wifi. At my house, it's extremely slow; although my iPhone, PS3, etc all work fine.

Any ideas? I don't know much of anything about networking so not sure where to start.

I have a Netgear router WGR614, I forgot to look at my parents' router since I didn't know if would work slower here...
 
WGR614 is B/G if your parent has any Router (old or new) that is B/G/N their Wireless will work faster.

The WGR 614 was a Mediocre Wireless in it days of Glory. Today its time Gone.
