Why's my 3DMark score change so much (2/3!)?

Does the 6600GT have thermal throttling or something?
I ask because I ran 3DMark05 last night and got 3965; I ran it this morning and got 2664. My CPU score is more or less unchanged. Yes, the settings on my entire computer are still the same. I checked. The vid card's a Leadtek, oced to 546 core/1100 memory.
Framerates went from 17.8/11.1/20.2 to 12.4/7.3/13.4
I wouldn't expect thermal throttling to do it, though, because the temps I'm reading are the same or a little lower compared to last night.

You didn't change the image quality settings from performance to quality? Something is wrong because that is a big difference.

Oh duh, I'm an idiot. Had on forced AA/AF.
Though I thought I'd had it on before and it didn't matter, as though nVidia'd disabled that in their driver optimizations.
