I bought a Sapphire x800pro 256 VIVO with samsung 1.6ns memory modules. And then i flashed and it would not unlock the other 4 pipes. And for the longest time i could not figure out why. So i did some research and it turns out that you need a modified flashrom to get it to verwrite the part of the card bios that tells the card how many pipes to use. So in order to under stand this more, here is a link with downloads for the modified Flashrom utility, and a crap load of differents bioses you can dowload
