Why your Apple computers are so expensive?

See I think that's where I'm different. I don't really care if the CEO calls people stupid. If the products are top notch I'll still buy em. Now if the company practices unsavory business models like destroy a town village to create a plant, then that would be a case where I wouldn't buy.

It's nice that you can't grasp that a computer is more than it's spec sheet.

Well a computer is a tool not a dress so one would think putting the spec sheet first would be common sense.

For what it's worth, Apple actually do have a more superior product when it comes to laptops and desktops ( believe me when I say that they really do because I've dealt with them ). I'm not gonna get into the Iphone and the rest of the gadgets.

On a side note, no way in hell I would buy a macbook or the likes.

Dell = Harbor Freight

Sure their specs MIGHT be better but...

If I'm buying a 4 digit tool I'm looking way past the spec sheet.

Now that is actually a reason I can support. If you don't want to buy a company's product because you don't like something about the company itself (CEO, vision, stance on something, etc.) then that, to me, makes more sense than any of the other retarded arguments in this thread.

I refuse to buy an MacBook because they cost waaaay too much monies!!

Now I'm as much an Apple hater as the next person, but this just isn't true. The build quality and aesthetic styling are superior to almost all other PCs. Yeah they don't have the gear to back it up, and yeah they're massively overprice, but it's not quite true to say they're inferior in every way.

To some people (morons, mostly) the styling is more important than anything else, and they're willing to pay for it. So that's one aspect where they're still whipping most manufacturers. The fact is your average Dell or HP desktop is an ugly beast compared with an iMac.

um, i don't buy a computer to look at the fucking thing, i buy it to use it. why would i spend $2000 on a apple computer when I could get something with more power for half the price or less?

Good analogy. As a side note I've bought 3 things from HF none lasted a year so I won't step in store again.

Same for laptops. I've broken a Fujitsu, a Thinkpad, a Dell but never my two MBPs...although I do favor the old aluminum model more over newer plasticky model...apple went cheap this time IMO.

Are you sure you're not an Apple Fanboy and was incepted from Apple-cuteness to treat your Apple products better? Get the cheap plastic model and let us know how that goes, maybe you won't break it 'cuz you might be dressing it in bubble wrap - after Apple teaches you to care for it like it's a stuffed animal.

I did not see that Apple is a work of art. This is a normal computer. If you want a unique computer, then look at the Soviet computers - they are the best, knows the whole world, but they almost never produce.

Do not get me wrong, we have because of fires burned all the wheat and potatoes, because of this they are 3 times more expensive. And winter is coming, I need to buy firewood for the stove, otherwise we will freeze to death. I can not spend extra money on the computer. If Apple is worth the money, I buy it, but what is the reason that it is more expensive? He is faster?Прослушать

Oh yeah power cord win too. I actually destroyed the female end, which happens to be inside think pad T61 by dropping it off my bed onto floor.Rendering laptop to garbage bin...well plus all the cracks in case. Would not charge and I even bought a new $60 charger. Won't have this problem with MBP since it's cable is magnetic.

No fire I eat things up in general use...MBP has proven itself to me.
