I dont know what is more hard to believe.

He blew his system up or him trying to claim he actually got a X800XT-PE.

It is a real toss up.

Mayhaps he got a x800 Pro VIVO that came flased with a special BIOS so he thought he had an ATI x800 XT-PE? (arn't they supposed to be just as good anyway?) :)

But seriously, I doubt that it is an issues with all x800 XT-PE's. I really wouldn't mind having one. ATI cards are by no means bad. He just ran s**t out of luck.

of course if we get MORE reports of XT-PEs "blowing up" in rigs, i'd be wary. ;)

Funny how no one said anything about this part of his system specs "EXOS Water Cooling for CPU and GPU". And if the GPU block he was using wont fit the X800XT, it means some hoeses would have been disconnected. I dunno about the rest of you but no matter how careful I am, a drop still manages to come out and land somewhere....
