Why you should let your car inspection go past due

I prefer the old "sorry, I don't have my insurance with me" myself. Take your insurance to court the next and watch the ticket go bye bye. Unless the cop's a prick and gives you both tickets.

i was just happy not to get the speeding ticket that i so deserved. i actually thought i was doing 70+. when he asked if i knew the inspection was due i was like "no", but really i was like "yes!"

i've never tried the crying, show some tit approach, although i did think of turning down a side road.. quick.

I am sure there is a special guy out there that can make that happen. You just need to meet him. :music:

Just watch out... you might get a gay cop the next time and it won't work as well unless your man is with you. ;)

You can try it here sometime? We'll let you know if it works.
Just a suggestion...

Send it to me in a PM if you don't want everyone to see.

This chick I used to work with would begin speaking spanish, pretend not to know english and start crying. It got her out of a few tickets.

Silly Mosh, you shouldn't be going that fast :p. 5 over max! Passed cops doing it and not a single one has pulled me over for it. Although, I do have a modification to that rule that I've kind of worked out... if a cop is driving on said road and you're going past him at a decent rate (even if it's only 5mph over), slow down. In other words, don't pass the cop quickly (on a 2+ lane in each direction road that is ) even if it's only 5 over.

Ah, so you copped to a lesser charge. And there is nothing wrong with 69, except on radar. :p

I love getting in trouble and punished after going 69! You should try it some time. Come over, I'll show you how fun it can be.

No guarantee. The cop might hate immigrants.

If you'd like to practice the "show some tit" approach I will be happy to inspect some photos for research purposes.

sounds like my college roommate. she started bawling out of no where, and loud too, and the cop just let her go probably so he didn't have to hear her. : /

the 69 reading is suspicious b/c as soon as i saw him come over the hill (and knew i was screwed) i looked down and i was doing over 70. anyways... radar = not reliable.

Oh, that is interesting. So maybe he was just throwing that 69 out there to see if you'd bite.

Cruise Control moshy... I use it like it's my job! I hurt my ankle awhile ago and with how small cars are (6'2" and a bit lanky), constant pedal work agitates my ankle :p. It also stops me from wanting to speed if I just "set it and forget it."

Although I did have this one time the other day... I got behind this rather slow van (was going -15MPH) and I just got sick and tired of it. So I bolted up a side road (note, this road's speed limit is 30mph... the normal way the van went is 55mph). I was going about 35-40 on the side road and I still beat the van out by about a quarter of a mile or more. Kind of sad.

But yeah... if I'm not using CC in my car... don't ever push '6' on my stereo. '3' is also bad if you put it to 5 (Vitalic - My Friend Dario) or 8 (Tegma - Robot Don't Hurt Me (Johan Ilve's Remix)). Oh 11 is a good one too... that's Bubble's Biddi-bodi Biddi-boo... you know, the song in Super Troopers when they're driving the Porsche around :p.
