the general consensus? look, i'm pretty damn sure plenty of brits got their jollies off watching the american wackos on that "documentary"...it validates their view that americans are idiots.

we aren't talking frontline or something of quality.. it was a pretty shoddy documentary. bbc is kinda inconsistent on the quality.

So you hold British citizenship, and? Jump through enough hoops and you can hold 'citizenship' in most places.

The point I'm raising is not about the documentary. Yes the BBC doesn't always get it right, far from it, but at least they try to be unbiased in most cases unlike most news networks (particularly commercial ones). Maybe some Brits did get their 'jollies' off at watching that documentary, I never personally watched it so I can't comment on its content, but rather by the synopsis posted.

My point is that you are assuming all Brits have a view that as you so put it 'Americans are idiots?. Your assumption is far from the truth and is just as misguided as most common prejudices.

no, they don't. their quality is just inconsistent from what i've seen. it wasn't a little slanted, it was approaching michael moore. i'm comparing them to frontline, u know what that is right? with some things you can just tell.

and i didn't say all brits, but in general.
