It's the Onion... but like a lot of their articles they leave you wondering.

It reminded me of the docu about killing bin laden, and the bits about wether or not to go ahead on a 50% chance he was there while potentially alienating a nessecary ally.

Trust me I don't.

It's not about the stress of decision making, it'd be the fact that there are more powerful men behind the scenes and the President is nothing more than a figurehead standing up at the bully pulpit to get torn asunder. Public opinion is a fickle mistress, he can keep it.

The Presidency has devolved into an American idol contest.
