Why would you buy budget ram instead of this.

Normally I would just post this in hot deals but why would you bother buying budget ram when this Hyper X is so cheap.. I have some and its good fast ram(I paid more, sigh). DO you think the trend will be for higher end ram to start coming down like this in price or are we just in that lull until something faster comes out.

It says at the bottom of that page that the memory can run at 500mhz @ 3448 timings. I did't see any mention of this on kingston's site, so does anyone know if that is true?

I am going to try to run it close to this high to see if it is true or not. My board doesn't like to run the ram higher than about 240MHZ but that is close and will hopefully be fixed with a later bios.

Thats a good ideal on this ram. About 1 month ago I posted about it. It was $159.99. Then they raised the price to 219.99. I guess they lowered it once more. Good stuff.

That's smokin. Hurry!!!

That's highend ram at budget ram price. When we talk about budget ram here we mean major brand... and since Muskin/Corsair values are ~135 a gig right now well...these will smoke em at same price.
