Why would someone make a prank call at 2AM?

Do people not have any respect at all for others? Even if you're young, you should realize waking up your parents at 2AM would bother them, why would it be any different for someone else?

I wish there was a way to report this so that they can't just make a private call and hide their information. I think it takes a court order to reveal who made the call or something?

You don't have your phone service set to not allow blocked calls? I would think all phone companies have this feature. Nobody from a residental address can call my number unless they unblock theirs.

Yes, if you have your phone set to block your number, I think you have to dial *82 to unblock before your call will go through to my phone.
And then I know who's calling me.

I'm sick of these issues with quotes... but anyway, will they get a message saying that or something? By the way it sounds, I will have to block these without question at all. I'd say I get 1 call on average per year and thankfully I get most of them when I'm awake (last time at 6am), otherwise I'd be 100 times more irritated.

When they try t complete the call, it will instruct them on how to disable the block and tell them to redial.

Man I used to get those several times a week in college when I was living alone in an apartment. I could hear a faint kinda muffled sound sometimes, but figured it was an automated fax server and that was background noise or something. Then one time I distinctly made out that it was a woman pleasuring herself. Weird as sh!t. I don't remember, I think it stopped after a few months. I was having to unplug the phone from the wall though in the meantime.
