i have a duron 600. i have a fop38 hsf. its now overclocked to 800 with default vcore voltage. i tried upping the vcore voltage to 1.75, it worked, but still no 900. then i tried 1.80, and it was a no go. neither was 1.85. i can change it to 1.80/5 but when it tries to reboot, it doesn't. it doesn't reboot at all. its just like there is no chip in the socket when i reboot. i have to do a powerdown, then wait a few seconds, then re power up. anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

You are going to have to set your motherboard into jumper mode. Read your manual to find out how set the A7V into jumper mode, and the jumper settings for the voltages.

It was already set into jumper mode. But I do not know how to change the vcore because of what it says in the manual.

CPU 90.00 MHz
PCI 30.00 MHz

that is what it says about the four jumper settings. It has a lot more, but I don't see where it says how high the voltage is or isn't. Please help me out. I want the voltage to be 1.85 so that it will reboot and stay at 1.85. i know my chip can do a 950/ghz dance. i hope!~

I'm using jumperfree mode and it works fine. I change my Vcore voltage through the bios. Easier that way. Multiplier through the ole Asus dipswitch way and the FSB in Windows using CPUFSB.
