Why would I be getting such crappy FPS?

I just installed Wolfenstein new order and maxed out the setting and im getting huge fps drops, some as low as 30fps. Temps are ok so I have no idea what going on. Im trying to run at 1080p so not going crazy on resolution.

Probably because the game isn't very well optimized. There are lots of reports of the same problem on the Internet.

I was wondering that to, ugh whats the point of a nice computer if games still run like crap.

This is something that i hope DX12 rectifies with Windows 10 over the next year or so. Hopefully the new games that use it will run much better than some of the shoddy console ports we have now.
