lol....My friends and I just went to Atlantic City...we couldn't believe the stench in the air through most of jersey...my friend who was driving actually had to pull over he was laughing so hard...none of us could believe it really does smell...we thought it was a joke until we actually went there

Been here for three years now for Law school - sure I'm looking forward to going back to California (I'm sure someone has a comment about there too :) ) and it's not a bad place. Maybe a little flat for my tastes and the traffic design isn't the best. But generally, I don't see why people are so hard on it. Seems like a nice enough state to me.

because people are ignorant and like to stereotype. that's all.

i lived in NJ for 7 yrs, currently living in Yardley (north eas philly more or less) and i thought NJ was great.

NJ has the advantage of having the densest population of any state in the union and of having the 2nd highest income per capita. there is a lot of fvcking money to be made in NJ.

that in and of itself is a good reason to settle down in NJ.

check out NJ on google maps (satellite image) it's no longer the garden state, it is now the asphalt state.

Your ignorant if you think all of New Jersey is nasty...sure it has its bad spots just like many states...but it has some unbelievably beautiful country in areas.

I moved to north jersey when we had kids and couldn't afford a larger place in Manhattan.

Hmm I have been to parts of Jersey on Business and it is called the Garden State for a reason. Still Housing costs were through the roof and I would not want to live anywhere along Highway number 1.
