Why would a T-bird 900 run at 1.8v core when the mobo is set at default or 1.75v?

The Bios reports 1.79v and motherboard monitor reports 1.80v when the mobo is set at default (pro2a) which I thought was 1.75.
Setting the bios at 1.75v still yields 1.79v and 1.80v.

Is the Bios wrong or the sensor wrong? Should I kick back to 1.7v or just leave well enough alone.

Mac

PS...Has anyone else had MBM 5.08 crash their system?

I say just leave it... it won't have any serious effects on your CPU anyways... T-Bird chips can safely run at up to 1.85V...

Some motherboards give slightly more voltage which can help stability, nothing worst then a CPU not getting enough voltage, anyway my own T-bird 900 also on a MSI board is reading 1.78v so I would not worry and leave it at that setting.
