Why would a PC have this type of activity?

When you type 'netstat -es'. It gives you alot of useful information about your current network activity. At the bottom it has UDP statistics. What would it mean when your datagrams sent is far more than you datagrams received? I know that this may be a trojan, worm or virus of some kind trying to do something. How could you further deduce what was going on? I just thought that it is kinda odd to have that much UDP traffic going out and only have a faw coming in.
