Why wont videos play on my secondary display?

I have 2 dell 2001FPs and a BFG 6600 OC. Windows desktop is extended from one monitor to the other. Primary monitor (also #1) is on the right. Seconardy Monitor (also #2) is on the left.

When I play with programs like winamp, windows media player, the core media player, nothing will show up if I put it in the secondary window. Items play fine in the primary window.

My tv tuner will play in either just fine, but not file players.

Any ideas? Im using the latest Nvidia drivers.
 
you need to enable theater mode because overlay doesn't work on the secondary display. i'm not sure where this option is though.
