We are running Intelligent Disaster Recovery and we're getting an error. The error is this:

"STOP: 0x0000007B INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE"

We've followed the instructions give by Veritas but we can't seem to get it working. Does anyone have any experience with this?

There was a Windows 2k blue screen error like that. I wonder if they are related...

Maybe you can make something out of this: "STOP 0x0000007B" Error After Moving Windows 2000 System Disk to Another System

Last year I had to rescue the only Win2k domain controler on the network that had a failed mobo, but unfortunately we had to get a new mobo, because Wang Computer don't make that mobo any longer. The hardware incompatibility during initial boot that causes so much havoc that I have to reinstall the server & had to break the SID list to migrate the users & database over to the rebuilt domain.

We need a little more information to help you out. Are you recovering a Win2k Server? The error messages is stating that it can't find or there is a different boot device than before. Is it the same machine as before? Is it a RAID array? SCSI? IDE?
