Why won't the government accept my birth certificate?

Didn't know you need a BC to get your Passport. Oh I see, you never had one. Noob. The government owns you.
 
drr.. i can sort of see the requirement.. i've never heard of a wallet BC. is that the only one you have? seems odd that it'd be all the hosptial gives you.

They ended up accepting it because I had an expired Passport from before I was 16 (you can't get those renewed once they've expired) that they sent along with everything else.

Most PO clerks are lazy and hate their job so you can't expect too much from them.
 
Be sure and follow the directions on the form, dont sign it until you are in front of the person.


When I got a passport, the guy in front of me had signed the form at home, the lady would not accept it, and he had to go all the way back home and start over, I was laughing to myself.
