Why won't the freaking San Jose Mercury News just sell me the Fry's advertisement?

Them bastards won't do it. Maybe I should tell Fry's Electronics to break out of the advertisement with San Jose Mercury News and start a mailing list that mails people just the ad itself if they sign up. HECK, I would pay money annually just to get the damn advertisement.

Too much trouble. And plus, by the time I get there, everything is already gone. Sold out or broken machine.

Buy the paper and throw away the rest, as notfred said.
Go to the library and read it there.
Ask a neighbor if you can have the Fry's ad from his paper.
Go to Fry's without the ad and see what's on sale.

What what?! They won't sell you just the Fry's Ad??!! Them b@st@rds 😛

Maybe you could go in on a subscription w/someone who just wants the death notices, or help wanted and split the cost of the paper with them -- that'll show 'em.

think a daily paper costs 25 cents anyways. what are you going to buy at frys if you can't afford 25 cents?

You do realize it is Sunday don't you? I mean, come on, Sunday papers usually cost a whopping $1.75. That not cheap!!!! heh. 🙂

I believe the Metro has the Fry's ad on the back, and it's free. (only 1 page ad though)

Yeah I was gonna say, the paper in Phoenix runs Fry's ads practically every day I think. Then they have a flier on Friday . . . ?

I don't remember if the ones up north do, but the ones down here in LA post their ads near the front door.

yep, they've been doing that for years in the SFBA

The Contra Costa Times (just a few miles North of S.J.) has the 4 page section on Friday, It's only a quarter. On Saturday and Sunday they only buy the back page of the sports section.

How about this, wake up on Friday when the sale starts, get there before the store opens. Buy newspaper in front of frys for 35 cents. Done.

Well I agree. My Mother saves me the Fry's ads and I read a bunch of them when I visit her. You guys just don't understand. Zclyh3, if I get some time I will see if there's something I can do about this. I want my MTV, I mean my Fry's ad. They don't have it in the Chronicle at all.
