Why wont scheduled tasks work?

Every time i try to open up the "add new task" button in the Scheduled tasks window, the window freezes and i have to press ctrl-alt-del to exit the window. I use WinME and run mstask.exe at startup so i dont get this... Is there some sort of bug in WinME scheduled tasks?
