why won't my phone read my micro-sd card?

The computer is reading it fine. There are some files in the my_sounds folder, and i even moved a sound file from the phone to the card, and the computer reads that, but when i put it back in the phone, nada. The phone sees that some space on the card is taken but doesn't read any of the files. What could be the problem?

Maybe the computer is writing something to the card that the phone does not understand? The Samsung specs say a 2 GB microSD works. Can you format the card in the phone?

If its bigger than your device can handle it probably wont read it.

Also sometimes they wont read things not formatted by themselves as stated
