why wont my dvd play in my ps2?

I burned a soccer game on a dvd+r disk last night. It will only play about 10 seconds on my PS2 before it gives me and error and says, cant read disc. Ive never had this problem before. It gets read just fine in my computer and I can watch the whole match. What do you all recommend that I do?

Try to burn another or check the specs of the video format before burning. Might not be in the proper format to play in the PS2.

Probably because it's a DVD+R, PS2s don't tend to play any recordable media unless modded. Even VCDs.

PS2s are pretty damn good at playing DVD-R. They hate DVD+R though.

Also they're picky about the program used to burn it for some odd reason.
