Why won't my computer start?

Ok, it's been turning on for over a year now, I open it up to install a new floppy drive and push power. Nothing happens. Ugh. The LED on the mobo is lit up, so it's getting power right? What could be causing the problem and what do I need to do to solve it? I'd appreciate any help, cuz my dad will be pissed if he doesn't have a computer :-\

I put in the floppy cable backwards once and my computer wouldn't start either. Try flipping the floppy cable around or right side over.

You RULE! This is why I love AT. I wonder why that happens with the floppy cable...
Thanks, regardless. Now my dad won't eat me when he gets back from his business trip. No one will be the wiser 🙂
