Greetings!

I recently purchased 128MB Of PC133SDRAM to bump up my system which allready had 64MB of PC100SDRAM. upon installation... i got no new acknowledgement of the new 128MBRAM.. only still 64MB. From here I swapped the 2 sticks.. and I would get 192... but windows would generate some BS Protection fault..
from here. i removed the 64MB stick and kept the 128MB in.. in which case all would work fine. Next i borrowed a stick of 64MB PC100 RAM from a friend... and this lil sucker wont be recognized at all.. in either of the slots.. and the RAM stays @ 128 regardless..
so basically.. i either have 128MB ram.. or 192 (and a crash before i can even load windows)...

thx for the help..

Just a wild guess, but do you think you could have a bad stick of RAM?
Reset your BIOS to defaults and then start from scratch. gl.

not sure about this, but can u use pc133 and pc100 at the same time in your mobo? that might be the problem

your new 128MB of RAM might have some problem. What kind of MoBo do you have? I haven't seen incompatibility between RAM for sometimes now, but I wouldn't say it didn't exist.
