Why does dell outsource their support? The connection quality is terrible, I can't understand the Rep, and she has the nerve to say that MY PHONE line has static on it. Umm... I have excellent quality on my lines here. Maybe it is because you are in BF India that you can't hear me! Dammit, now she is transferring me and saying that I need to contact customer service. WTF does Customer service have to do with my dell credit account?

Dell is one giant cluster fvck.

Ok so here is the issue with Dell... they haven't sent me a statement in 5 months, but they blame the Post Office... right.

I wanted to obtain a pay-off amount for the account, but the lady assured me that I needed to make a minimum payment amount and then wait on a new statement. Hell no! I am not paying that crazy amount of interest and hassling with this again. Finally, she gets a pay-off amount but tells me I have to call another number to make a payment. I wanted to send a check in but I couldn't understand her enough to get the address.

BTW, I just called the number and couldn't understand the lady so I hung up. Wow.
 
So this has to do with DFS and not Dell computer support?

I'm so glad that I finally paid off my DFS loan, took almost 3 years.

I disagree. A few months ago I called DFS (sounded like an American) who gladly quoted me a 10 day payoff quote.

When you call, are your friendly, calm, sane and rational or do you go off on them?

They SHOULD be able to quote you a 10 day payoff with no problems unless your account is in collections (past due).

DFS is 1000 times worse. Unbelievable how many problems i've had with them. It took them 5 months to change my address
when i moved. I had called every time, and written it on the "change of address form" every time. Never changed. :|

Friendly, calm, sane, and rational. Getting irrational doesn't work with anyone unless you are at your wit's end.
