In the last week, we've talked to this guy 15 times. Literally. This is my second time talking to him. I don't know how many times I told him the last time I talked to him "NAT wildcards in CBOSv2.4.1 are broken. They do not work. They kill connectivity." He has called multiple times regarding this issue, we have done the best we can to get his software up & running. We have found a workaround to the wildcard issue that works quite well, but for some reason it's not working for him. Do we know why? No. Is this something we guarantee? No. If customers want to be able to run servers, etc. we do our best to configure NAT for them. Usually we have good luck. Sometimes we don't, but we really do try. If we can't get it to work we tell them to get static IPs.
This guy AGAIN tried to set a NAT wildcard, and whadda you know... He couldn't browse. He then calls me up bewildered as to why he can't get on the internet.
Goddamn, people, THINK! We told you multiple times it was broken, yet you try AGAIN?
