Like I said, >40 Million Americans have no Health Insurance.

Fail at math like you fail at politics?

Negative. You Fail at Honesty, trying to equate what I said to that little Mathematical exercise you undertook.
I debunk your 40+ million uninsured Dem talking point with statistics showing otherwise and that's the best you can say?

And the thing that pisses me off most about those facts are that 25% are illegals -- who should be completely denied care so they'll self deport. Yet this admin is seriously thinking of covering them through UHC.

Debunk? What was Debunked?

I understood his post quite clearly. Why can't you? Think of it this way. Did you know that 25% of American's aren't allowed to vote in any election? How can that be, in the greatest democracy on earth, that 25% of our citizens have no right to vote? Preposterous!

Oh yeah, it's also true that 25% of Americans are under age 18, per the last census. Yet the point remains, 25% of Americans are not allowed to vote.

p.s. illegal immigrants are not Americans.

I think you're fvcking with me, but in case you aren't, let me be clear on the takeaways from those facts I gave you:

- I don't believe illegals are entitled to healthcare AT ALL, so remove 10mm right there.
- More than 1/3rd of the uninsured are young people, some of whom choose not to carry coverage.
- A similar number make sufficient money to buy a basic plan, yet choose to go without (need that money for flat panel TVs, manicures, and $3 daily lattes).
- 50% of those who become unemployed/uninsured regain their coverage within 4 months.
- And one more I forgot to mention: about 2 - 3 million don't realize they're eligible for Medicare or Medicaid (so don't blame us if you're too stupid).

Bottom line: Many of those "46 million chronically uninsured" are without insurance BY CHOICE or IGNORANCE. The real number is much lower... 12 - 14 million.

You may have understood his, but not understood mine. He didn't Debunk my point, he merely took a subset of the figure then presented it as a Debunking. That is incorrect.

If the socialist nation health care system is so great, how come many peoelp from to US to receive their most important surgery?

I want to see hard numbers on this. How many people from foreign countries opt out of their own system and come to America on their own dime. I don't want anecdotal evidence, I want hard numbers. If you are putting this out there, then you must have the support for it. I'd suspect the number is extremely low and on top of that, the reason they come to America is for a very specific reason. For example, America does have some facilities that other countries do not have.

Separating the groups is Moot. There are >40million Americans(this could be argued I suppose, but even the Illegals contribute to your Society) uninsured.

Your result might be used to argue the urgency is not quite as great, but even the figure for Younger Americans who Choose not to be Insured is not really clear as to why they choose. For all we know it could be due to the Expense.

If they are illegals they are not Americans. So it really is 30-40 million Americans with out insurance. Most of them choose not to have insurance.

Congratulations...my point is made.

And my conscience can live with 4% of the 300 mil U.S. population being uninsured. It's called the bell curve of life, and we can't nor shouldn't try to save everyone at the expense of the majority.

For the record, I don't want illegals contributing to my society - I want them to go the fvck home. Alternatively, they can wait in a long line for citizenship, pay taxes, and fully adopt my culture and language. Otherwise, tell it walking...

It is >4%. Try 10%+. It also doesn't matter if you can live with it, try telling that to their Face(s).

13 mil (midpoint of my 12-14 mil statistic) / 300 mil = 4.3%.

You can't legitimately count those who can but choose not to purchase insurance as chronically uninsured, since they are such by CHOICE or worse IGNORANCE.

Man are you liberals always this thick?

It's you who is be Thick. You just dismiss whole groups to make a bad point. Ridiculous. The figure is >40million(including Illegals). Those are actual People walking your Streets whose only recourse for HealthCare is a serious Health Issue. When they inevitably have those Issues, you end up Paying one way or another and usually at an Inflated Rate.

What's even worse, you are willing to deny Millions of your Countrymen any chance to have HealthCare, because You can "Live with it".

Stop using facts and logic... they will get you nowhere.

For the record... i think we should move towards UHC... slowly. reasonably, and with a deliberate plan. With rapid fire legislation we are just gonna end up getting fucked over, i think.

It is exactly what Obama want to do, rapid fire legislation like he did with that cap and trade crap. Just create a two tier system where people can choose not to get UHC won't pay a dime extra in tax, problem solve.
