No one was advocating drug use, and for a change the thread didn't degrade into a name calling flame war.

I don't question the mods often, but in this case i'm curious.

Only speculation on my part but...
It is advocating drug use, that could be implied by the title and some of the responses. It is an illegal substance and it could eventually lead to a flame war.
Preemptive strike?

I agree that it was a carefully named and worded thread. In it's beginnings it was, I think, perfectly fine. However, the potential for abuse was there. The problem is, that abuse was potential; not evident.
I too think that the mod was a bit too "trigger happy" at this instance.
I am in no way advocating drug use or abuse. I am just stating what I read.

even in the thread, someone compared it to alcohol. i do not think the intent of the thread was to advocate drug use... they might as well have used addictive substance, as that is an all-encompassing title...
