my thread

i saw the post with the picture in it, but i was asking if anyone knew of any good informative websites which actually had instructions on how to make custom cases like this one. I did a search and came up with nothing! please show me where the repost is. thanks

There is already a thread on that subject,we do not need two of them.
Go post in that thread.

First of all, go back in your thread and look at the message the mod left you. "Repost"

Then look up a few threads and see that it is in fact a repost. See?

no, the picture itself is a repost, i admit that,
but the original post was just to show the big fan in that case,

my thread is asking if anybody knows of any good websites which TEACH HOW TO BUILD CASES LIKE THIS!!! would it be better if i took the picture out? would you understand what i am saying better that way?

I bet the mods thought that a better place to ask that question was in the thread that already existed. From the FAQ:

<< 9. Sometimes a moderator will delete a thread, other times they will lock it, and leave it to delete later. Locked and left up usually means that we want other users to have a chance to view the thread to get an idea of what is/is not allowed.

A thread that is deleted immediately is either 1) Because it is offensive, or 2) There is a similar locked thread existing in the forum.

I completely understand what you're saying. I'm saying that your thread was too similar to another thread that was just 2 threads above it. The mods locked it for that reason.

AND, there is no reason accuse me of being stupid or not being able to read English. This was the reasoning behind the decision to lock the thread whether you like it or not. Don't kill the messenger.

What I don't get is...

who cares if it's a repost?

This was actually an informative thread that I was interested in seeing more of.

Trigger happy mods?

btw I never saw the other thread

We care if it is a repost,we do not need multiple thread on the same subject.
