I tried to separate it as much as I could from the other one.

I locked the original thread because Monty wanted to play in the gutter for no reason.

I would suspect that the second thread was locked due to there being a first thread; overlooking that the first was locked due to misbehaivor.

Eh, I didn't take it into the gutter, you might have overlooked the first post after the OP.
