Why was the sticked Alienware thread in Hot Deals immediately locked?

I assume that is how threads like that are normally done. I'm guessing they pay to advertise and don't want negative comments.

I guess that would make sense. And I think Newegg is far more respected on these forums than Alienware (relatively speaking). I could see that thread becoming an Alienware flamefest pretty easily.

Go to GH and post a question along the lines of "which Alienware computer should I get?". You will be astounded at the hate directed at you.

Because Alienware and Hot Deals don't go together. Not to mention how the majority of the forum dislikes Alienware and their significantly over-priced computers.

It would be a huge disaster if there were comments allowed.
