I notice some threads in OT have replies from around 3pm then again at 10 or 11pm. But I was just now able to access the forums, I kept getting a "Anandtech.com is currently doing site maintenance and will be available shortly." Message.

We did a massive hardware upgrade this weekend, starting yesterday at 6pm. Every server just about was upgraded, and the database server. All brand spanking new hardware. Most of it is done now, just doing basic rack cleanup and then we're done.

Is it possible to get any more communication for you and/or anyone else in the know of these things? Notice of yesterday's downtime, as well as explanations of 6/17's and 6/20's downtimes would be very courteous and professional to be conveyed to the people clicking this site's ads. It would also be nice to know the progress of issues being addressed, both those we report and those we don't know about (like massive hardware upgrades). It sure beats locking threads without comment.
