Why was my thread concerning advice deleted?

Hey mods

I posted a thread asking for advice on what to do with my friend's computer.

Here goes (very short to keep this thread brief)
-I asked him to install AdAware
-He scanned
-OS went fubar because adaware ripped part of the OS with it
-I posted on AT asking what to do

I saved a link to the thread to refer to it,

But it seems it has been deleted. Even searching for the thread, the title was something like "AdAware killed my friend's computer - need help ASAP" yields no results.

If possible, can you please tell me why this thread was deleted? There was important advice in there that I needed to refer to.

that happened to me a few days ago with my ipod question, which i posted in OT on accident. i searched when they were moving it, found nothing, so i figured the mods deleted it. then i made an identical post but then i realized it was moved.
