When they started humanizing the Terminator, that's when the movie started to lose me. The thing was built for killing, and now it's trying to have emotions??? WTH??

It's not that, I just don't like it when they take a concept then throw it out the window...

The whole point of this was that the Terminator (a machine) COULD LEARN to be human. AI rocks

I just felt that it would be like taking an Alien and making it a good guy... some things are much better being evil...

Terminator III looks to be one of the worst movies ever. That and Arnold's looking somewhat geriatric.

There was a part where he said that he was programmed to learn and act more human. I don't see what your problem with this is.

You should see the Director's cut. There's a sequence where the Connors remove the Terminator's CPU and change it from read-only. There's a discussion leading up to this point where it's said that Skynet doesn't want the Terminators learning too much. As the CPU is pulled out, Sarah wants to destroy it, but John stops her. Very cool little snippet, and it adds some depth to the parts where John is teaching the Terminator slang, and how to smile (which is also expounded on a bit more in the SE.)

There's this great shot of Arnold at the end of the movie where he has his final confrontation with the T-1000. Arnie tells the Connors to go on ahead while he pulls his grenade launcher and pistol...this smirk of come-get-some on his face.

That has to be his coolest movie moment of all time. I really have to get a screenshot of that for my Windows background...anyone got T2 and a DVD-ROM drive?

Maybe that's what I missed watching it, I'll check it out. I just have a problem when they take villains and change them. Like Pinhead in the hellrasier movies, he was totally cool, till he started talking too much...
