Why the name "AnandTech"?

I mean I imagine the name is because of Anand Lal Shimpi but...

Also with him stepping down and the recent purchase by Purch,

Will there be a name change?

I don't see why. The site is known for its name, not its owners. Same reason there was no name cange at Tom's Hardware.

I feel, like Tom's Hardware, that its name doesnt represent the site anymore.

But hey, thats just my opinion......I understand name changes are irrelevent and it is the content that matters.
