Why the hell was MADtv cancelled?

SNL has sucked for awhile too, but from what I hear it USED to be funny and is kind of a tradition so it will live on.

SNL continues to suck worse than 70% of madtv. unfortunately, about 25-30% of madtv sucked more than anything in the known universe, and this annoyed people.

Seriously they had a few winning sketches here and there but most of it was junk. Then again most sketch comedy shows are just as bad so why it specifically was cancelled I don't know. Ratings I guess.

The problem with sketch comedy in general is that it has a high suckage to awesome or STA ratio. Even my favourite, Kids in the Hall, was still mostly trash. When they are good they can be golden but most of the time they bomb horribly.

I'd say it's funny (7/10) but too childish, another problem with MADTV.
