Why the hell does my dad do this?

Like, everytime one of his friends is over they usually stay for a meal or something. Fine by me, but when they go to what they want to drink, he basically pressures them into the one drink that I buy for myself (Code Red). He'll say, pretty much in these exact words, "What do you want to drink? Code Red, Code Red?"

Now, I wouldn't care if they picked it, but my dad like fscking pressures them into drinking it. Is anyone else's dad an asshat like this?

Ah well, get over it. If you buy it, you're helping, I suppose...it may not be very hospitable to offer only one drink, but hey...your friends are what, 14?

We have 3 fscking fridges!! I use one of them and put all the soda I buy (mainly Code Red and Cherry Coke) on the bottom shelf. Nothing else is on the bottom shelf.. It's like having my own fridge. It still wouldn't make a difference, my dad always has to agree and attempt to be funny around his friends.. :(

Sounds like it's just one of the parental quirks.

My dad used to make my friends and I eat breakfast when they stayed over. Huge breakfasts. At like 6am.

I have no clue why. But yeah, that's always the only drink he suggests unless someone else asks for something else. It is also the only drink I buy and drink around the house. With the exception of OJ and Milk.

He's talking about his dad's friends, not his friends.

Yeah, my dad is like that too. And when they don't want seconds or anything, he always replies with, "What, you don't like it?" He tries to be funny, but fails, miserably.
