these damn razor scooters. freakin $129.99 retail.
what kinda shiznit is that? all it is is a few pieces
stainless steel. a few bolts welded together. and they
charge over a hundred bucks for em. I mean they're great
but, why the freakin outrageous prices.


I was at the Puyallup fair today, those of you who live in
western washington know what I am talking about. and these
clowns were selling gas powered scooters for like 600 bucks ON SALE
I was like what the fu**? I mean all it is is a little motor and a few
parts and stuff. are people really that crazy that they would pay 600
bucks for a freaking scooter. you can buy a lawn tractor for that much.


whatta ya think? have people really gone crazy?

i can get scooters cheap...just not razor...besides razors aren't the top of the line....its just a fad and it'll pass. no doubt about it. just wait till winter hits...see who is dumb enough to scooter their booty through 3 feet of snow!

i can get those scooters from a distibuter that i get video cards from, They are LIKE the razor ones, but they are only $40. If you want one cheap you can go to 7-11 and they are only $70 there for one, they are all pretty much the same anyways. Yes i said 7-11. They sell them amazingly.

ahh, must be the same distirbutor, hans? stupid scooters...i remember some company tried to market these like 5 years ago in america...never caught on. but some stupid people in asia gets some scooters and then the whole world goes crazy...no i'm not dissing asians. i'm asian myself. but hte craze started in asia. actually here in america i think we are 1-2 years behind in this scooter craze.

they even sell them at duty free shops at airports for god sake.

how many scooter fatalities are there so far? I'm curious.

I saw the news in Japan where one kid fell from the scooter on something and puntured his lungs and died.

I considered getting a scooter... but after I saw how dumb people look riding one, I decided against getting it.

Ah, Raj, the're aluminium alloy, not stainless steel.

I think the best ones I've seen are the ones where turning the handlbar alters the camber of the front & rear wheels, like a skate board, but a hell of lot more so, bplus the wheels are quite a bit bigger too.

I can just see these kids in a couple of years. One leg will be better developed than the other because it's doing all the work while the other is stationary. So we got all these malformed kids and yes, they do look stupid riding those things!:Q

you know, tennis does the same thing. It's annoying.

As for the scooters... they actually do sorta help on campus... as long as you don't have to go uphill. Beats a bike as you don't have to lock it up.

But then, I think they look dumb and if you're not on the street (where I'd be likely to get hit because some ppl don't understand on campus, pedestrians have the F***** right of way....), it's useless because of all the ppl.

I saw one today, the fit and finish was remarkable, and very light!

$129.99? about the cost of dinner for 2 at a decent restaurant...;)

I'm just trying to say that scooters are hella whack. People bring em' to school and they try to do tricks and act cool, its so pointless. I think scooters are for posers.
