They used too.. 240SX it was known as (S13, S14) ..

If they sold the S15s with the SR20DETs.. I would have bought one.. or tried to. :)

That's a 1900? I didn't even think Nissan was around then!

LOL, I don't even know what year he's aiming for because he's way off.

And don't they use KM in Japan instead of miles?

They did, but not any more :( I wish this could replace the current SE-R Sentra, or at least take the place of the void that the 200sx left.

cause it is a sister to the skyline which is right hand drive and they will not engineer it to be left hand drive as well as some emissions standards too. Notice this guy is selling a car that is not even on this continent. Shadey looks like a pain in the butt to get it registered. Seats were ugly and so was the tail. other than that not bad.

Not really. The Silvia and Skyline are totally different beasts.
The Skyline is AWD and a good 700-800 lbs heavier, and plenty more expensive in Japan.

The car itself is readily available in LHD. Just look at the S13 and S14 240SX's. Same exact vehicles as the JDM, in LHD but with the KA24DE.

I think the reasons are more towards smog/emissions, the turbo (maintenance, insurance), and competition for the Z.

...except that car is a S15.

I like how the buy it now price is 25k. Thats more than how much it costs new in Japan, and it not even like the S15 is a hard car to find over there.
