Why the hell can't I buy beer on Sundays in corner stores?

The corner stores here sell beer but on Sundays they lock the fridge doors. Whats with this? Bible belt or not how the hell is this lame law still in effect?!

What state are you in Skoorb? Here in Massachusetts they don't even sell beer in anything but a designated liquor store. It sucks, but what can you do...... Where I came from in NYC you can buy beer in any convenience store/gas station 24hrs per day 7 days per week

I think it is just at certain times. I know here in NC you can't buy beer on Sunday before noon or one or something....

Alabama. In Nova scotia I couldn't buy in corner stores and I love the ability but why the hell do they remain open on Sundays but not let me buy beer? F$#(@(*

I've never heard of that. As far as I know I could go buy some beer right now if I wanted to. I don't know though, I don't exactly buy beer often, I *am* still a minor (and without money at that) for another 7 or 8 months.

Drive down to Jefferson county, or at least Birmingham. They sell beer on Sundays there.

Or just go to Applebee's or some sit down place in Huntsville and drink up. They allow that on Sundays in Huntsville, don't they?
