Seriously, why is it that in nearly ever thread there is someone commenting about word usage or some grammatical error? I thought this is a forum mostly composed of people in math and science related work. I've never heard anyone here say they work as en editor, or publisher or anything English related. And the between SAT, GRE math and verbal scores are usually huge. Is it because you all are so "logical" that language has to somehow be logical? Sorry, but if books like Catcher in the Rye and To Kill a Mockingbird were logical.... They would not be the classics that they are now.
