for all of you that run win2k server
what do you do for antivirus
i install norton systemwork 2002
and the nav say, it doesn't work with win2kserver, so terminated installation

NAV2001 will work with W2K server.

If you are running a server, vendors want you to purchase the $erver version of their software. The server versions are designed for a corporate environment - automatically pushing out updates of desktops, etc. and are expensive.

Unless you are learning server specific stuff - Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc., there are few reasons for people to be running W2K server at home. Most everything someone at home would do with Server could be done with Pro.
