Why tha hell isn't Vin Diseal in 2 Fast 2 furious?

Anyways, this really pisses me off, Vin Diseal made his fame from Fast and the Furious. It could be that the directors didn't want him, but I don't see why. I think its because he wanted more money which is insane. Take a look at the trailer yourself, it looks ok. link

You got me on why he isn't in it, he isn't afraid of being in crappy movies. For example FF1 and XXX to name a few.

I keep up on movie news and stuff, and the reason was described as "contractual disagreements," which sure seems like he wanted more money to me.

I really liked his acting... it was fun to watch how bad it was.
Basically the prior director didn't want to do the movie without Vin and he was working on other projects.

True that.. HORRIBLE movies. I did like Pitch Black, but every other movie I've seen him in(or seen previews for) was/looked HORRIBLE.

It was more money. I was watching something where they were on the set of the movie, and Tyrese explained why he was there because of Vin. He said straight out that Vin wanted 30 million or something like that even though he's only a co-star with that other guy I doubt any one here knows the name of.

Hell, for a few million dollars I'd have played the lead in Jason X.

I'd say that the best movie that he was a part of would either be The Iron Giant or Saving Private Ryan. All his other movies SUCKED. Big time.
